Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero

It was an awesome park. Some of the best things to see are at night! We stayed on the ocean within walking distance to the park. I believe we paid a few dollars to get in.. wasn't crazy. The trail out to the point was amazing! Every so often a trail went to the ocean and walk the ocean until the next trail entrance. We saw tons of howler monkies and a few foot prints from a big cat. There are stops along the way to rest if needed. It poured rain on our way back. Definitely wear boots, it is a rain forest so plan on rain. Don't get to lost up in the beauty..big cats roam as well. We found tons of turtle shell holes after they hatched. This was a truly amazing place.

This really was a special experience. We spent two days in Tortuguero which you have to get to by an hour boat ride. Even though it rained a lot we expected it and loved it anyway. The whole area is so biodiverse you will see so many different plants and animals. Make sure to get a guided boat ride through the canals which was just fantastic. Highly recommended. I would've loved to see the hatching turtles on the beaches as well but sadly it was not the season for that.

We had an amazing time in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and our trip to Tortuguero National park was so special. We have seen so much wildlife. My dream came true at Tortuguero National park where I have finally seen a green Sea Turtle nesting. This is a life changing experience that makes you more humbled towards the nature and all its beauty. It is so important to preserve the nature and to save the planet for many more centuries to come so that our next generation can enjoy the blessing as we have. I’ll never forget this experience and would definitely come back to explore more of Costa Rica

It's a great place to see aquatic and riparian birds along with based Iguana. You'll hear stories about Jaguar and perhaps spot a small camino (crocodiles). It's the vegetation and scenery that's King!

We went a guided tour arranged by our resort (Aninga), and we went very early in the morning on our tour boat. It was pouring rain when we left but lucked out that it cleared of and on. It was an awesome experience. We saw many animals including a beautiful Aninga bird and several crocodiles.
