Create an itinerary including Pakleni Otoci
Pakleni Otoci offers many peaceful coves for diving, underwater fishing, swimming, and water sports. The name is popularly translated as Hells' islands, but it originally derives from "paklina," an archaic word, meaning "tar." The islands are especially popular with visitors who have smaller yachts. If you're such a visitor, moor your boat in the Palmizana marina and watch the waves wash onto the sandy cove surrounded by pine forests. Go scuba diving near Vodnjak--the island the mayor wanted to rename Facebook. For a lovely dinner, head to Galesnik, a former artillery fort-turned-eco-island. The islands are full of naturist beaches, which feature showers and charming shops. • These islands are a lovely place for a sailing trip. Beautiful scenery and several places to stop for a lunch or a swim if so inclined. Not good for large group boats. We were on a private trip.

  • 10 years ago it was one of the nicest area of the part of the Adriatic. Today it is an overcrowded over priced area. Some bays looks like the Tokyo metro in rush hour. Prices are in the sky. Of course the Hvar is very near which is an exiting a beautiful town but overtourism is serious.
  • We had a great onward speed boat ride (Blue Shark company). The blue water caves were wonderful. The return boat ride was too bumpy and the skipper would not reduce speed hoping it would make the ride enjoyable
  • Beautiful and fantastic Islands. It locates in Croatia.
  • Many great places ideal for swimming
  • Emerald Island
