Klis Fortress, Split

Fantastic views and fresh air. A great afternoon excursion. Lots of historical sights (even GOT). Suits of armor, swords, and thorough explanations. Lots of stairs. Be sure to use the bathrooms at the base of the fort. They're nicer than you'd think!

A nice place with a history that goes back a long way. It's worth a visit especially for enthusiasts of the well known series that was filmed here. I find the 10€ entrance fee a bit spicy for what you get, but notoriety has its price.

Very nice place to spend a morning. A bus will drop you off, you pay admission and you meander through a medieval fortress. Parts of games of thrones was filmed her, in particular the scene with the dragons flying around. The steps can be tricky to navigate. The views to die for

Very beautiful place to visit for the panoramic views. Definatelly a great location to be visited in the cloudy days. The ticket includes a free visit in the Museum of olive oil, which is 5 minutes away by car. There is free parking at the bottom of the fortress, but is not very big.

Overhyped place due to casting GoT, but mostly nothing to look at. No doubts it a great historical place with interesting exhibitions, but price is higher than I expected, again due to TV show. Here you can try yourself as an archer, blacksmith and knight. And the view, the view is incredible
