OH Wines, Vizinada

AMAZING family owned winery in Istria. We had an amazing visit, and even though it isn't tourist season yet, Sasha was very welcoming when two Canadians showed up at his door in the evening. He spent lots of time with us describing the wine scene in Istria, and it's safe to say that we tried some of our favorite wines ever! A must go-to if you are looking for authentic, delicious, Istrian wine.

Even though we arrived in a storm, we got an amazing tasting. Good bread, sausage, cheese and a selection of great wines. Lot of great knowledge from our expert, he knew every answer to every question. We learned a ton! Highly recommend driving to this location.

We visited OH Wines and Olives looking for a more personal wine experience and to learn more about Croatian wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the vintner Saca. He took the timing to not only explain the different varietals in Croatia, and learn about olive oil. His knowledge was impressive as is his international experience in the industry. He generously accompanied the tastings with a bit of wine and cheese, in all it was a great experience. We enjoyed the wine very much and purchased several bottles. His shop is tucked away, it's not big or fancy, but rather cosy, and friendly, just as we hoped for!

A lovely and heart-warming family. We were there for the second year and we felt welcome from the beginning. The wines, the food, the olive oil...you feel that the whole family is at work with great passion. Amazing, keep up your fantastic work and stay healthy!
