Panagia Church, Ayia Napa

Beautiful church with very nice icons, some of them are very old and were placed in the church when the monastery next to it was closed for the reconstruction. Is open till 20:30-21:00 every day. Beautiful mosaics in the church yard. Icons and candles can be bought inside.

We were on family holidays in Ayia Napa during the local festive day of Dekapentavgoustos on 15 of August. So we thought we'd miss the church ceremony and holy communion. But when we arrived at this church (thankfully our hotel was just 5 minutes walk away) we realized how blessed this place is. There were 3 priests who were helping locals and visitors with the communion and they insisted that we stay until we were served. Thank you very much!! We'll be back.

It is a big Orthodox Church located at Ayia Napa town center. This is the first church that I saw an automatic body temperature scanner you can check at my video upload here as well. It is one of the busiest church in town also because they held gatherings here.

Beautiful place, definitely worth a visit. The lady working there was very nice and answered all our questions, in English.

Worst church ever! Tried to have a nice Holiday but it woke us up everyday. No one inside but the speakers Outside were always on Like somebody Cared…
