Create an itinerary including Ghost Town Varosha
Take a glimpse of Ghost Town Varosha, a former Mediterranean resort with hundreds of hotels and houses that's been completely abandoned since 1974. The empty airport in this post-war buffer zone still has its crumbling airplanes, and the seafront features golden sand with no one to sunbathe. The area remains off limits to visitors, with armed soldiers enforcing the ban. However, you can view the empty neighborhood through the fence surrounding it. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Famagusta holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Ghost Town Varosha and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • You have to see it to believe it.It must have been amazing place to go and have a holiday, when it was up and running. If you go be prepared to be shocked and moved,by fifty years of neglect and waste.
