Create an itinerary including Alagadi Turtle Beach
Over 300 green turtles and a vast number of loggerhead turtles have made Alagadi Turtle Beach their nesting spot. The whole process of laying, cooling, and hatching turtle eggs happens between May and July. When the babies emerge from their shells, they have minutes to reach the sea; they do so by following the moon's reflection on the water's surface. Therefore, at this beach you won't find hotels, clubs, traffic lights, or any other sources of artificial light. Everything is dedicated to the turtles; and consequently the golden sand, low greens, and wildlife feel at home. Because of turtle preservation, people are not allowed on the beach during the night during nesting season. • Very bad beach with a lot of garbage and polluted water. There aren’t any wardrobe and toilets also. Don’t waste your time.

  • Great wild beach. They were able to see with their own eyes how the turtles are released into the sea. In order to find out when volunteers will be there and see for yourself, there is a page on Instagram spot_turtleproject.
  • A quiet beach to relax and enjoy the sun! It definitely needs facilities, toilets, showers etc The good thing is that, although there were no trash cans, the shore was super clean!
  • An unspoilt beach, cloudy day though, but took a 360 degree photo of the area. Click into the photo or click the 360 symbol and let it download.
  • Very nice beach with sand dunes in the background and good parking nearby. Also nice restaurant on the other bay side.
  • Amazing place for swimming, running, hiking and exploring. Many sides of this beach can be explored. Especially making picnic here is suitable but sand is erratating. The best part I'll say is there no plastic wastage at the sea and on the beach too. There's no bin around, so try to pick up your trash and at the parking area , throw it there. I advise to go on the 3rd turn to Alagadi. At the end of the beach, on the right side from parking, you can see notice like a small island. You can go there. Very lovely to be at that side, and you can explore bit more but careful for your toes, better to wear some shoe.
