The sand on this beach, and others in Larnaca, is similar in colour and texture to a poor concrete mix. That said this beach is very pleasing and safe. Lovely for swimming and sunbathing. Plenty...

Clean and not crowded beach. Best time to enjoy is early morning.

This beach is really nice for family's travelling with child, as the water gets deep really slowly. Its not crowded. Definitly would recommend. One thing to note is that the shops are a bit away from the sunbeds, and a coffee costs €4, which is hugely overpriced. The sunbeds/sunshades costs €2.5 but if you are alone you don't need to pay for 2 sunbeds. The shower works with 50 cent coins.
-
Secluded, quiet, uncrowded, with a long distance between sunbeds, with a small bar where you can also serve food, with a playground for children, the sand is fine, the entrance to the sea is smooth, the water becomes very warm in the afternoon. It is an extremely friendly and picturesque beach at the same time. The shower does not always work and the toilet available is only that from the bar.
-
Good too know: All sunbeds and umbrella cost each 2.5€ from 07.00-17.00 after that it is free to use. And yes it is like this on all beaches here in Larnaca.
-
I liked it better than the Finikoudes beach. The sand is softer (so you can lay and walk comfy on it). The sun beds were more comfortable (not all plastic, like the Finikoudes beach ones).
