The Blue Flag Mackenzie Beach features shallow waters and fine gray sand, plus an array of water sports. Adjacent to tourist hotspots, this family-friendly site offers lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent, as well as areas where you can spread your own beach towel. Take a dip in the calm waters of the sheltered bay that stretches for about 1 km (0.6 mi) along the sea. If you like adventure, try out speed boating, sailing, and windsurfing here. The beach is well organised into sun loungers and areas for refreshments to be purchased! I would say that this is easily a beach that you can spend the day on!

Definitely best beach in Larnaca. Beach has great infrastructure and less crowded than other beaches. Plus you will see plane take offs / landings.

Nice beach. It improved a lot in the recent year or so with the bars around, especially nearer the harbour. Sand is OK... not golden but more brown and muddy. The sea is flat with no sudden depths so it's safe.

Awesome beach, parking is €2.50 for the day, cheap to rent a sun lounger and with ample selection of restaurants a stones throw away from the water what else do you need. You even get to watch the planes fly in low to land at Larnaca Airport.

Nice and long beach. The sand isn't fine and the water is not that clear, but it was ok for me. I love the cats who came at the beach and sat or slept on the sunbeds😅 and I also like the view to airplanes who landed near the beach (where is the airport ofc).

Coffee shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, sunbeds, kiosks, lots of parking, calm safe waters, music, clean sand, lifeguards, children's playground, bathrooms, showers etc. This beach is perfect for anyone. You can find whatever you are looking for at this strip with ease. During the evening/night the bars turn to clubs and become a hotspot for locals and internationals. There are multiple different genres that are played at these venues, from calm ambient to techno, hip hop, house and trance. Right next to this strip is the airport so while you're waiting for their flight to arrive you can have your swim and watch your loved ones fly in 😋
