Shacolas Tower is a highrise building completed in the 1990s, which is located in the old town of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. It is currently the fifth tallest building in Cyprus and third in Nicosia. It is considered a hallmark of the city's old town. The first 5 floors are H&M department stores and the 6th floor is a cafeteria offering a panoramic view of the old city of Nicosia. The 11th floor is an observatory and a museum overlooking the whole capital. There are telescopes, binoculars and a recorded feature on the history of the capital.
This museum combines a modern museum with the view of the entire city. It can be found on the 11th floor of the Shacolas Tower. The exhibition - a cooperation with the Leventis Museum of Nicosia and the Debenhams Group - shows photographs and descriptions of Old Nicosia, a multilingual taped history and binoculars.

  • Either sunny or cloudy, watch Nicosia and enjoy! From the 11th floor of the tower, you can see Nicosia from four different directions, learn from the buildings and the information delivered, enjoy...

  • The views from the tower do make the north south divide quite stark. It is well worth the trip up the tower and the small fee.

  • Ticket 2.5€. Small place , closed room without balcony or terrace. lots of interesting history, nice view only through windows, which are unfortunately dirty 💔 , I was expecting an open air 360 degrees balcony for a panoramic view .
  • For the mere coat of 2.50 Euros you can enter the 11th floor of the Shacalos tower and gain a view of all Nicosia. A clear view of the division of the city as well as the Turkish flags hewn into the mountains is visible.
  • If you don’t want to pay 2,5€, go down to 9th, there is free toilet. The same opening hours. Open the window above the urinal. Nice view.
  • Great view for 2.50 euros. A bit difficult to find, on the side street next to H&M is the entrance. Date of our visit: December 2022.
  • Well worth it cheap entry and interesting history and interactive screens showing different things of interest and lots of viewa
