  • Nice to see from the outside. It's an old church located in the city center of Paphos. You can go outside in certain hours. It's located on a stone
  • The church where 22 years a go, I felt God so close to me, like never before. August 2000 with a heavy heart I entered and later that evening I had my answers.
  • An old Byzantine church with traditional architecture of the times.
  • This old church is literally named "covered by God" as it was built on a cliff and was clearly visible to pirate raiders from afar. However, when the pirates got closer to the shore, thick mist covered the entire area essentially hiding the church, making it impossible to locate. A great sight to visit and very close to the coastal walkway. Open during the day, free for anyone to visit.
  • An amazing array of archeological finds over a considerable area, ranging from prehistoric times to the middle ages. The most impressive are the four Roman villas. One has yet to be properly investigated and there are doubtless many more discoveries to be made. However the mosaic floors are stunning and well worth the visit. Be aware that there is little respite from the sun, so take a sun hat and plenty of water.
