Fikardos Winery, Paphos

A nice family run winery that offers tours and wine tasting. We visited today based on a recommendation from our taxi driver, did both the tour and the 4 wine tasting sessions. It was amazing. Leonardo, whose father owns the winery went on a private tour with us talking about the history and production process. It's interesting to learn that the wines are named after family members and their  characteristics. We're very happy with the experience which costs €5pp for the tour and €5pp for wine tasting.

Cannot recommend this place enough. We did the winery tour and 8 wine’s tasting. Fikardos Fikardos is fantastic, super knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt so much here about wine production but also had a fantastic time! Must visit!

Had a tour of the small winery with a member of the Fikardos family. Tasted 8 wines and received information on the history and taste of each wine. Bought lots of bottles and they called us a taxi. We were first quoted 65€ for a 5 minute journey but the family were very helpful and managed to find us a 17€ journey. A lovely morning.

Absolutely fantastic winery. We were taken on a tour by Mr Fikardos himself, and had the opportunity to taste a huge selection of wines (even buying 4 bottles to take back with us after being blown away). All wines are made 100% locally or using specific grapes to make Chardonnay, Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon and it is a family owned business which gives off a very warm and inviting feeling! I would recommend anyone staying in Paphos, or even anyone staying in Cyprus in general to take the time to give them a visit!

This is one of the trip within the other excusion. The winery itself is very nice and clean, they offer 4 type of wine for tasting, the owner have good explanation on their brewery process, it was nice but wish to see more, maybe a mini demonstration on the process for example.
