Botanical Garden and the Greenhouses, Aarhus

Absolutely marvellous! The greenhouses and the park and maintained so well with a huge variety of plants. They have plants from all over the world as well as Danmark endemic. All signs and explanations are given also in English. And they provide more information using their App. Take the spiral staircase up into the tree house and enjoy the view. Lovely to have butterflies flying around you, there. Did I mention that it is absolutely free (no admission fee)? Nice coffee shop, too. Wow, what a great spot in Aarhus!

A small yet very cute greenhouse. They have a lot of interesting plants but I think my absolute favourite is the last room - it’s like a tropical forest, but with loads and loads of cute butterflies. It’s free to enter too, so there is no reason not to go!

I am so happy that I found this place and decided to check it out. There are different sections of the greenhouses for plants from different regions of the world. There is also a butterfly garden with a structure that you can climb up. It was very hot and humid at the top so I only spent a few minutes up there but it was beautiful. I didn't try anything from the café. One of the best things about this place is that it was totally free! I would recommend anyone visiting Aarhus should check it out.

Nice gardens. The fields were littered with trash probably from partying the night before. The greenhouses are really pleasant. They are free so there's no reason not to go.

Really pretty botanical garden. It consists of biospheres with exotic plants divided by continent. In one you can also see butterflies. The visit is free of charge so definitely worth it!
