Dreamers Dive Academy, Dili

Fantastic group of instructors and divers. Very friendly and accommodating. Great dive sites both boat and shore. Plus you can either do recreational or technical diving. The courses are thorough and fun and they will make you a better diver. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Dreamers Dive Academy in Dili. I am a Scuba Instructor and wanted to learn some new tricks ad have fun at the same time, Kate and Ivan were really great in helping me plan my trip and recommending ways to combine courses to get the most value. I decided to do the Sidemount and Solo Diver training which was a great course taught by very experienced instructors. If you are looking to do any training including technical diving, or just go fun diving in Timor-Leste then go to Dreamers Dive Academy!

I can't say enough about these guys! My wife and I had a great experience with Dreamers Dive Academy. Kate, Ivan, Kayla and Melky are all fantastic teachers and guides. We went through our SDI open water training course with Kate and Kayla and loved it. Went from knowing very little about diving and being very nervous in the water to two very proficient divers. Kate is a great teacher; very patient and knows how to convey techniques to beginners and advanced individuals alike. We have since done a dozen or so dives with them and have had a great time and their surface interval snacks are the best in Timor Leste! Fresh juice (blended that morning) and vegan friendly (and delicious) food. If you are in Timor Leste and want to learn to dive, learn a new tech diving skill, or just want to do a fun dive, definitely give them a call.

Dreamers Dive Academy is a gem in Timor-Leste. Highly recommend this diving school to anyone who is looking for professional and detail-oriented instructors who go beyond to provide a safe, paced, and comfortable environment for learning. I learned how to swim, did a discovery scuba dive, and the SDI open water course at DDA with special thanks to my instructor Kate!

Update. Just completed my Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures courses with Dreamers. Ivan was amazing. Made the course a lot of fun while maintaining a very strong safety focus. Could not recommend more highly, especially for advanced / tech training. Did the TDI Sidemount course with Dreamers. Kate was an incredible instructor and was really flexible. Ivan serviced my BCD and Reg while I was there and did a great job for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommended.
