  • I was there last week with family members and the guide, I bought beautiful papyri, but they said they would write my name in hieroglyphics on the papyrus I bought but they didn't write anything. My family members' papyrus had their names written, but not mine. I felt cheated. I did not like.
  • One of the best papyrus shop in pyramids
  • The club is perfect wonderful ❤️
  • Great souvenir to take home Where can we get some papyri as a gift? Asking this question to our citytour guide led us to this site. The staff are friendly and there is no pressure to buy. The welcome is a presentation of the traditional process for making papyri, with which any of us could do it at home... There we could see that some "papyruses" that we had bought on the street were not really papyrus but imitations. Next we toured the beautiful papyrus paintings, which have a huge advantage over fake papyrus. The originals can be rolled up like a tube and can be easily transported in suitcases. If it is true that they are a little more expensive than those bought on the street, but there is no point of comparison, this site is worth visiting. If you want, they can make a personalized papyrus with your name in hieroglyphics and your zodiac sign, the tree of life, or many other symbols that fill your heart and face with smiles. Wait for the ink to dry well before passing it on to your children, you can take the opportunity to teach them to be careful with an item before putting it in its protective tube. After being in it, as long as it doesn't get wet, everything will be fine. It is only a small place, but it is ideal to bring these unique memories to special people who are not waiting at home. It includes its certificate of authenticity which adds value. The staff is respectful and the place is clean and nice. We weren't going to buy more than one, but of course we couldn't contain ourselves and we ended up taking several for other relatives. If you are traveling with children DO NOT leave them alone, it can quickly wreak havoc. You can enter with a baby carriage or stroller.
  • They showed how the papyrus is made. You can take many kinds of pictures and patterns. Papyrus is a thick paper-like material made from the hedgerows of a once abundant wetland in Egypt's Nile Delta. Papyrus usually grows 5 to 9 feet tall, although it can reach 15 feet.
