Unfortunately the short film to view @ the start wasn't operating but the rest of the museum was impressive....very well presented with information both in English and Arabic and great air con too...

The artefacts in the museum are nicely presented and most have good signs in English and Arabic near the entrance of the museum. We find there are enough signs to explain the rest but you are left...

Very informative and has good coverage. Best part is the Museum is designed in such a way that you can cover everything without getting lost. It has a huge collection of antiquities. I truly loved it. The cost for entrance is LE 140.

A lovely museum to visit, but don’t expect an extravagant exhibition. Still recommend visiting. I spent about an hour here, came after 5pm. My hotel organised a taxi and I paid extra for him to wait for me - happy I did as came solo so better for safety. Staff nice and guided me where to go and what to specifically check out.

Be sure to visit the cachet room. It’s right as you enter the museum on your right. Nicely air-conditioned, and very well organized with a huge variety of artifacts as well as mummies.

It’s a small yet very rich museum, it has a collection full of beautiful pieces, totally worth visiting.. the whole tour would take around an hour, everything is neatly displayed.. it is open from 5-8pm

This is a great Museum. The labels are clear and the exabits are clean and well kept. There are mummies and the most beautiful statue I have seen in Egypt that was discovered on the Luxor Temple grounds during renovation. This is the best museum in Luxor and will take you about an hour to go through if you are moving at a moderate speed.
