Create an itinerary including Tomb of Sennedjem
The final resting place of an ancient Egyptian artisan and his family, Tomb of Sennedjem features masterful masonry and colorful bas-reliefs. Hewn into the cliffs, this maze of a mausoleum bears the extremely well-preserved paintings of an important artist who decorated the nearby royal tombs. See Sennedjem's self-portrait, depicting him harvesting wheat while his wife sows seeds behind him. Made during the reign of Seti I and Ramses II over 3,200 years ago, the tomb still features fantastic colors and images.
