Create an itinerary including Convent of St. Bridget (Pirita Klooster)
Located close to the scenic shore of the Pirita River, Convent of St. Bridget (Pirita Klooster) was built in the 15th century as a home for both monks and nuns. Now in ruins, the monumental convent was once among the largest religious structures in this part of the world. Much of its architecture still remains, and it displays a combination of Gothic grandeur and the ascetic values of its former inhabitants. The site is open throughout the year and the convent is rarely crowded, so it's likely you'll have the opportunity to see it totally undisturbed. A visit to Convent of St. Bridget (Pirita Klooster) represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Tallinn trip planning app to plot your vacation.
