Savor a moment of quiet reflection or prayer inside the contemporary Kamppi Chapel of Silence. While it seems to contradict its surroundings, this site is nicknamed the "Chapel of Silence." Built on one of the busiest streets in Helsinki, the chapel provides a calming atmosphere inside a tranquil space positioned in an otherwise hectic area. Step inside the chapel, which welcomes people of all faiths. Examine the contemporary architecture, designed as a part of the World Design Capital program of 2012 by Kimmo Lintula, Niko Sirola, and Mikko Summanen. • This place is where you can find peace in the middle of a crowded city. It so quite inside that you can even meditate. The chapel is located on the Narinkka Square and it is also known as the "Chapel of Silence" since it is intended to be a place to calm down and have a moment of silence in one of the busiest areas in Finland. I highly recommend this place. It’s free to enter and it’s gonna make a difference in the quality of your day!!
  • The silence here hits different. If you looking to take a break from the noisy and busy activities outside, then you should visit this place. It is a good place for mediating and reflecting. It is free to visit and taking pictures inside is not allowed.
  • Lovely, silent experience. Impressive that wood can be enough for building such a graceful place.
  • It’s a nice chapel and very unique. I did get get to see inside but I like the architecture from outside.
  • You shouldn’t take pictures in here but I couldn’t help it, this place is stunning! Breaking the rules aside, it really is a beautiful place to take five minutes out of your day for some quiet reflection.
