There are many things to see in the museum. 3 Levels. There is this dark place about military war, when you walk passed a pathway, u will hear footsteps following you, quiet eerie.

We only had a couple of hours to see Finland. So my partner recommended this museum as a great option. We both enjoy museums. ,☺ I was very impressed with all the details and different interpretations of languages. They have a cafe downstairs and 2 sets of bathrooms. The museum was very informative about Finland's history from 1917 to 2017. Could have used a little bit more time but it was a great visit. 👍

For individuals interested in the Finnish history, mythology and culture, this museum is one of the places to visit. I enjoyed the pre-historic segment of the collection as it was interactive and unique. However, that can't be said about the remaining collections. They were good, but not extraordinary. The museum, however, is user friendly. Visitors can easily work their way through different sections. I would definitely recommend taking the free audio tour. It surely enhanced my understanding while I was going through different sections.

This museum is really nice. The staffs are really kind and helpful. We were lucky to go there when the computer system did not work. We got in for free! This museum shows the history of Finland with the map and stuffs. It is good for all people to come to learn history. The part that i like the most is you can stand in front of the mirror, they take a picture of you then your face show up on the painting. Everyone can leave the stuffs in the locker which is really comfortable.

The museum is really nice! With Helsinki card, I didn’t pay for the entrance, it’s included in the card price. The museum staff were really nice and helpful. I lost my Helsinki card while picking up the guide gadget, the staff member found it and returned to me 😇 The museum start with the history of people who lived in Stone Age up to the current days. There was also an exhibition dedicated to Sami people: their lifestyle, clothing. I loved that all. The coffee in the museum cafe was not great, unfortunately 🙃

I enjoyed my visit here. The museum is a beautiful Art Deco building with pleasant flourishes relating to Finland’s natural history. The exhibits tell the nation’s story from prehistory, to the arrival of Christianity, to statehood. Worth a visit!
