  • This is a beautiful place year round in Pokka Lapland. If you go here, you should also stop at the Pokka town which is only a gas station / bar but they have really good lonkero there!

  • One of most unic holy place in Finland and Lapland. This is full of nature peace and beauty.
  • Amazing view of this ancient place☺️👍👍
  • It's a bit funny to criticize a historical site, but... :) Taatsin Seita is an easy "attraction" to reach, it's only a short walk from the parking area. Seitakivi has a beautiful view of the surroundings, the area of ancient remains. You should walk carefully around the rock, the drop to the shore is quite steep.
  • Since I haven't gotten here yet and there is no official website for this, I am writing here for your information: the quote begins. "Päiviö's Noitasuku has worshiped this seida until these days. A human face can be seen on Taatsi's seida. According to Paulaharju (1932) "the statue had a stone head, but it was dropped and broken. As a whole, the statue used to be like a person with its figure, it had a chest, neck and head and like a Lapin cap on the head"" The quote ends. From the book: Saint's Signs in the Stone - Juha Pentikäinen and Timo Miettinen
  • Great place. A very easy route to the destination from the parking lot. If you want to go all the way down, you can really climb. If you have enough strength, I strongly recommend it.
