A nice and well kept park in the center of kotka, with a beautiful church as centerpiece. Part of the kotka parks it is worth a visit for first time visitors. For recurring visitors the park offers a calm place to have a picnic or relax during the morning and day time. At night it turns into place where young people hang out, especially near the drained pool that attracts local skaters. The park is especially great in the summer when all the different flowers blossom and you get to explore and take in the smell. It also houses some statues and art part of the kotka sculpture collection. During holidays the park is one of the most busy places in kotka, and a place where young and older alike party and drink. Especially with meripäivät This can be both a positive and negative depending on your preference.

Nice park. In winter you can skate or ski. In summer you can hang around. Good place for kids to play at.
