  • A 16-meter waterfall, surrounded by pristine forests. An old log flume sits next to the falls as a memento of the time the river was used to transport logs (late 1800's to 1970's). Lovely scenery...

  • We stopped here on our way from Ruka to Rovaniemi. Wonderful walk in the nature and afterwards a lovely snack in the very nice cafe. There is also a very interesting little museum on the site.

  • Very beautiful hike. Not really intense, just a 3 hour walk through beautiful nature and the waterfall is great!
  • Beautiful rapids and waterfall with a lovely 3.5km hiking trail. Easy to walk, well marked and with several info boards and places to sit and even make fire and food. Well worth a stop if driving by or staying in the area. There is also a small museum (no entrance fee) that tells about logging in 1800-1900's.
  • This place if you're here around in North Lapland you definitely have to come and visit, you can hiking here ,3,5km ...Beautiful and calming nature, easy walking path, and also easy to walk with your pet😊 amazing.I love it.🥰
  • We've been there in early February. Everything was covered in snow and looked stunningly beautiful. The path was still easy accessible. Even our two kids (age 7) had no trouble at all. It took us a good two hours for the loop track but we took some breaks inbetween. The cafe was closed though. So bring enough supplies on your own.
  • Nice walk around the canyon together with the view from the tower, even in winter
