Safartica, Rovaniemi

I recently had the pleasure of going on multiple excursions with Safartica, including ice fishing, snow shoeing, and ice floating, and I couldn't have been more impressed with their service. From start to finish, the team at Safartica made every aspect of the trip easy and stress-free. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work, and it was clear that they wanted to make each experience unique and special. The ice fishing was a highlight of the trip, and I caught several fish thanks to the guidance and expertise of the guide. The snow shoeing excursion was also a wonderful way to explore the beautiful winter landscape, and the guide was patient and attentive throughout the trek. And the ice floating experience was truly one-of-a-kind - a bit nerve-wracking at first, but an unforgettable experience that I wouldn't have wanted to miss. Throughout each excursion, the team at Safartica went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable, safe, and having a great time. They were easy to work with, responsive to questions and concerns, and genuinely interested in making the trip an unforgettable experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Safartica to anyone looking for unique and unforgettable winter experiences in Lapland. The guides, the excursions, and the overall experience were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and explore more of what they have to offer.

We booked ourselves 3 experiences and so glad we did so with them. 1) the Aurora picnic which was excellent as the lady who was our guide did a fantastic job giving us the history and details of the Aurora phenomenon. She was very hands on setting up the camp and giving us a little picnic. 2) Full day snowmobile safari to Snow hotel - We couldn't have had a better guide, David was brilliant. His enthusiasm and confidence was infectious and he made the whole trip so enjoyable. He was extremely helpful and patient with our challenged skills on the snowmobile. The snow hotel was fabulous experience and the lunch served there was outstanding. 3) Arctic delight - Santas village and snow mobiles to reindeer farm. We were a part of a big group so had Boris and Barbara as our guides. Santas village was a delight specially for the younger ones, loads of souvenir shops and cafes to visit. The buffet lunch was average. We were then shuttled back by bus to the snow mobiles to ride over to the reindeer farm which was yet another great experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Safartica for fabulous experiences of the Lapland.

I was visiting Rovaniemi by myself and it was very difficult for a single person to book a trip for 1 person as everything was for 2+ people. The trip despite the price was beyond amazing starting with visiting Santa in his office to amazing lunch, snowmobile ride and visiting reindeer farm. Everything was spectacular and amazingly organised. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Rovaniemi :)

Where to start.... The Chalet was amazing, really high quality, really clean, something really special. Full marks for the team who look after them. The tours we did were amazing, Husky Safari, Lapish Lunch and Reindeer Sleigh rides. The guides were brilliant, down to earth, and nothing too much effort. We really enjoyed the whole event! I do really recommend it since its 5-6 hours duration were spent really fast! The snow mobile driving was marvellous! 😄 The guides were really dope!
