    A wide variety of information about the international history of gold mining. Reserve sufficient time for the museum since it provides a dense and vast collection of historical facts and exhibits. The Museum also has an outside area with authentic gold miner huts and a gold panning course. Especially for families, I'd recommend stopping by and visiting the museum! It was a great experience. The only question mark for me is that the gold miner village in western style did not fit the rest of the exhibition.

    Nice to see, bit expensive to do some adventures. Free parking and the museum is also fairly good to see.

    A little bit dated and maybe sad looking place. However, very informative and you can easily spend 2-3 hours here. I recommend a visit and I also recommend having a meal in the Golden Village.

    This is an excellent museum to visit if you are interested in the history of gold and prospecting. The venue offers a much to see indoors and outdoors. You have a chance to pan some gold for yourself close by.

    Great exhibition about the history of gold digging and washing all over the world and in Finland in particular. Also the open air part of the museum is really nice to stroll around.
