  • Forum Marinum has grown and improved vastly. It is a VERY enjoyable museum. The site and the exhibits are unique, and more and more attractive. They now also house motor torpedo boats and the like...

  • A lot of things to see here, two old sailing ships, Sigyn and Suomen Joutsen, an old passenger ferry as well as some old military vessels. On top of that there's also an interesting museum. Well...

  • Very spacious, explorative but at the same time very warmly designed museum. One of the best museums that I've visited in Finland. Exhibitions perfectly shows the maritime world and the number of exhibits is just massive.
  • Great Museum with interaktive parts. Big picture of history of all maritime aspects. 4 Real ships to explore. Place to be for the whole family and great Food for a good price in Restaurant Göran belonging to the Museum.
  • My favourite place in Turku. There are plenty of interesting exhibits showing the history and mechanics of local boats and ships.
  • Very impressive. A large amount of the exhibits were hands on, which I found to be unique and a big bonus to the museum. The museum covers all aspects of Finnish maritime history and incorporates technology very well. There are also around 5 or 6 ships that you can go on and look through as part of the museum.
  • A very impressive maritime museum. Two large indoor exhibitions with old wooden leisure boats, objects, photos and information of shipbuilding, military and commercial exhibition areas etc... Outside there is several navy and civillian museum ships, you can visit. If you tour all exhibitions and ships, it takes easily 4-6 hours. The museus has a large parking area, a restaurant, small shop. The nearest bus stop is a few meters from the door. On a nice day you can walk from the city centre by the river. Guest harbour is a few hundred meters away. Also very short distance from the cruise ship harbour.
