Lac de Sainte-Croix, Aiguines

Beautiful lake leading into Gordon Verge. We rented a pedal boat for an hour and swam in the cool water. Finding a boat was easy on a Monday morning but you probably want to get here first thing in the morning on the weekends.

The Lake of Sainte Croix is a beautiful lake with crystal clear turquoise water and beautiful views of the mountains around. There’s so much to explore around the lake and the gorges du verdon. A must when visiting the Verdon!

Perl of Provance. Maybe someone will not agree with this description but this lake is amazing. I recomend to go there with the swimming shoes, i haven't take them but next time I will, because of the rocks. Everything else is pure beauty and satisfaction.

Saturday, July 02,2022, at 34°c we've visited Lac de Sainte Croix which is organized by Amihan travel and tours from Paris.. The view is breathtaking, you can up your visit by renting a boat or a kayak, we opt for the pedal boat for 20€ an hour... The long travel is worth it. I took a quick deep in the water.. It is quite smelly at first but the odor went off once you are in it. Will definitely be back and try the other adventures it has to offer. 🏞🛶💙💯👍

It is a huge lake in the Alps of Haute Provence region, known for its boat sailing, kayaking, pets and kids friendly beaches with fabulous view over the lake from the village and over the village from the lake. I took a trail around and across the village and was delighted with the scenery around, but I didn’t take any boat nor kayak trip, that are highly recommended though because if the peaceful waters and stunning view. There is an easy access to the lake itself, and to the main village streets. One can find a camping car lot and camping itself right near the entrance to the village, fully equipped with playgrounds and barbecue places. The place is full with people though everywhere: in the water and camping.
