An older facility, but very well maintained! The place is very large with an abundance of trees of all kinds. You could almost say you are walking within a forest! Start early in order to see everything and to catch all the shows, and I suggest at 10am when it opens (closes at 5 I think). There are 3 shows not to be missed, the holographic, the seals and the birds, and these i put in order from good to better to best. You do NOT want to miss the bird show! Get there early though to get.a spot in the shade, otherwise you will burn! You also have to follow the map religiously in order to see all the animals, because the paths can confuse you a bit. There are 3 locations throughout the park where you can eat either burgers or snacks. If you eat the burgers just remember that the French cook them medium to rare, so if you like them more well done, you need to ask for it. There is plenty of parking, its free and its very close to the entrance of the park. Don't expect good souvenirs from the gift shop though, that was the only let down. All in all its a great place to visit with the kids, just plan on using the whole day!!

Very nice place to visit with kids and family. Lots of restaurants inside and in the surroundings. Show of birds it's a really good surprise, worth to see the 30 min presentation - check their schedule. Gorilla was amazing, so human eyes, you can talk to their souls. Few nocturnal animals, of course, were sleeping. 35min from Luxembourg and usually don't need to book in advance. Around 32 euros per person.

A zoo worth travelling to! I was surprised with how large the zoo was and how many animals there were to see. The zoo is designed beautifully and creates a very enjoyable environment. The animals also look very well looked after and energetic. I have visited many zoos where the animals are usually quite lethargic but the animals here certainly had personality! Thoroughly entertaining! One negative is that in the cafe area the ground was very active for mice.

Very nice experience! In my view one full day is ok to see all animals and even a few shows. On the downside, I think the park signalization (inside and towards the entrance) could be improved. Food inside is more fast food type and very expensive.

We had a wonderful visit to Zoo d'Amnevelle. The zoo is stroller friendly and my toddler only needed a little help seeing into some of the exhibits. We watched the sea lion and the falcon show and both were amazing. Throughout the zoo, there are plenty of kiosks for food. The prices were a little steep, but not unreasonable for zoo food. We were able to see almost all of the animals. There were only a handful of exhibits where the animals were either hiding or currently not in there. We will be back for sure, we spent 7 hours at the zoo and felt like we barely scratched the surfaces on what we could see.
