Beautiful castle. Wonderful gardens. Lego exhibition going on. Audio guides available in different languages. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the visit! Totally recommended.

We enjoyed our visit here but they close the whole thing for about 2 hours in the middle of the day including the garden at 12, which was disappointing as it’s pretty. Free parking right outside.

They shut at lunchtime, so to see the house and garden its important to get there early or straight after lunch to see the whole property

Great place to go and visit with lots of history! Lots of murals. Not open on Mondays. Opening times other days are: 10:30-12:30 14:00-17:30 I would recommend downloading the audio guide via their website and listening to it on your phone. Listening to the guide and walking round the gardens, you need 2-3 hours. The rest of the town also has a lot of history so that it also worth walking around!
