this church is one of the first churches built in concrete, it is a building that deserves a detour. Especially since Elisabethville has a past as a seaside resort, particularly frequented by Belgians. A walk to the edge of the Seine invites us to see some style houses that recall this past. It seems to me (to be checked) that currently there is still a mayor in this town in the commune of Aubergenville. A rehabilitation of the banks of the Seine is underway to make this past known.

Very fine example of all concrete Art Deco architecture with an incredible facade sculpted directly onto the building using the process of sculpting in fresh concrete, still in set. The sculptor and inventor of this technique was Carlo Sarrabezolles.
