Learn how our predecessors got "confessions" out of religious prisoners at Musee de L'Inquisition. This small museum is dedicated to the inhumane torture devices and methods used during the Holy Inquisition. The instruments on display forced unfortunate captives to convert or die. It's a good stop for people interested in religious history, forensics, or the chronology of man's inhumanity to man. • It is a phoney museum with no historic rigor. Maybe some of the pieces in exhibition are real, but most of them are, at best, forgeries from the XIX century and the romantic/morbid view of the Medieval Age, with no alert about it. They even display a chastity belt as a genuine practice of the time! Should it announce itself as a "horror passage" I wouldn't have any regret, but labeling themself as "museum" some minimum research work, not just watching some old Jess Franco's movies...
  • Still a fun museum, but there could be a lot more work done. The torture instruments are very cheap and there's almost no information on the history
  • Don't waste your money!! 9.50€ for two ridiculous museums. THERE IS NO HISTORY ABOUT THE INQUISITION. The quality of everything is just terrible
  • At my age you have seen everything before but children enjoy it.
  • Bit disjointed on the whys but a spectacular display on the implements of the inquisition. Impressive display of a very disturbing past
