  • Simply put, this park was amazing! Was a bit hesitant visiting given the amount of National Parks that are in the US but this was well worth it. Hiking down to the beach was both semi challenging and rewarding. It was releasing to float in the water and then lay on the warm rocks soaking up the sun and views.
  • A short drive or bus ride from Marseille, great hiking and walking trails with magnificent views of the Mediterranean throughout. Prepare for crowds in weekends, even in the winter months.
  • This is amazing wild place! Mountains and the sea! If you love nature - must visit!
  • Awesome, Second time we did the Route de Cretes and it was beautiful and amazing views, such beautiful nature, this wilderness, this pureness, nothing and no one can make this by human, this landscape only is made by the nature itself. If you are around Cassis or La Ciotat, take one day and go there, don't miss it -a must go!
  • I accidentally got to know this National Park in the morning, and decided to visit and hike instead of going to Marseille local attractions. I preferred tranquillity and scenery of the nature. I drove to one location and found it’s too far away from the beach, so I googled and found Calanque de Sormiou which could be accessible by car during autumn. It was a very adventurous and scenic drive to the inlet, the views were gorgeous with mountain ranges on both sides and the blue Mediterranean Sea in the middle. I tried to hiking one side of the hill, it was too steep and slippery, so I turned around and went to the other side, which was much more smooth and scenic. You had to marvel at the cliffs over the Mediterranean! Highly recommended for people visiting Marseille! Cheers!
