  • Very disappointing tasting experience. The person serving us gave no explanation about the vineyard or any of wines. She said very little at all - pretty much just poured the wines in silence. She gave us an English brochure about the wines to read only. She did not speak any English. I could speak enough basic French to make some conversation with her and then translate for my wife, but the lady still said very little. She basically poured the wines one after another and looked at us silently. I would say she had no enthusiasm for dealing with us. We have done tastings all around the world and this one was the most bizarre. Maybe it was just a bad day!
  • We did a little tour of the place while the owner explained a lot of interesting facts about wine. We learned a lot. The visit ended with great wine tasting. We ended up buying a few bottles. I usually don’t like white wine but theirs was really good and not too sweet.
  • Very friendly hosts, who took the time to explain their wines on a 1-1 tasting when we turned up unannounced. Some great wines - our favourite winery in the Chinon area
  • Not a wine guy at all but was fascinated with the process. We received our tour from the owner of the vineyard and he was accommodating. Nala, the house dog, will be crushed if you don't give her plenty of attention.
  • First class winery with excellent wines. Very nice tasting area will come back for more!
