Loire Winery Tours, Chinon

Keith and Linda are THE BEST. Hands down, one of the favorite parts of my time in France was the wine tour that they facilitated. They picked us up where we were staying, were so knowledgeable and hospitable, and really know how to put together a fabulous charcuterie board. Their years of experience in the wine industry shines through during the tour and so does their passion for their work - we couldn’t have picked better tour guides for the day. WOW! What a fantastic & special day in the Loire Valley sipping on wine with Linda & Keith. My boyfriend & I were fortunate to spend the day with Loire Winery Tours (Linda & Keith) bopping around some of the coolest vineyards & tasting rooms in the Loire Valley. Not if, but when you book with them, be sure to request a picnic lunch - homemade from their kitchen & garden... an absolute delight! We can't wait to come back & spend another day with them trying new wines & learning more!

We had a wonderful day with Keith & Linda in the Loire Valley. They picked us up at our hotel in Amboise and comfortably transported us around the region, visiting multiple vineyards throughout the day. Their knowledge of wines, especially in this region was exceptional and they were keen to tailor the experience to our preferences. The tour was educational, relaxing and fun. Highly recommend adding in the picnic lunch which was delicious and homemade.

Had a superb introduction to Chinon and its wine with Keith and Linda. They set up visits on short notice and went extra yards to make the experience special. Keith knows wine!! and food! and found two special spots for tastings. He also pointed us to a great local wine bar and several restaurants. Such a treat!!!

A wine tour in the Loire Valley with Keith and Linda will be absolutely unforgettable! We felt pampered from the moment we contacted them by email. They custom-designed a tour for us to Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Saumur-Champigny and Chinon that focused on Cabernet Franc. We tasted many beautiful examples but were also treated to Chenin Blanc, a sparkling, a rosé and an orange wine. We met a young winemaker who was very generous with her time and explained in fascinating detail her biodynamic winery in a clos. Keith and Linda also shared their wealth of knowledge as we soaked in the views of the beautiful countryside travelling between wineries. As amazing as all the wines were, the highlight had to be their homemade picnic lunch that included cherry tomatoes and radishes from their garden, and quiche made from eggs from their chickens. Delicious! I cannot recommend Keith and Linda highly enough! Whether you are a seasoned oenophile or just starting to learn about wine, this tour will delight you and have you planning your next trip to the Loire.
