  • Looks like we missed a treat. The building was obviously very expensive but you can’t get into it Such a shame. Part of 7 saints chapels.

  • This chapelle was fascinating, telling the story of St Martin in vivid stain glass art. Well worth the stop. We even got to visit the chateau on site.

  • Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, this former stable was transformed by the eldest daughter of Cardinal de Richelieu, thanks to the lawsuit she had won against the Court which had had her father's castle destroyed. The place is huge and beautiful. The castle has kept its period spirit thanks to the owner who has kept the period pieces and the old furniture.
  • Magnificent buildings. The stained glass windows are superb and very original. Guided by a volunteer lady we were very well informed. We were then taken in charge by the former retired manager, and therefore a volunteer, to visit the part of the castle that could be visited and furnished. What a delight!!! We can only deplore the current state of the gardens which are no longer maintained ???? Thank you to the 2 people who welcomed us and responded so well when it is not their job. How passion leads to everything... Another surprise: none of the 2 tourist offices told us about this essential visit....?
  • Very beautiful building unfortunately this one was closed but to visit without hesitation 👍
  • Amazing place, it has a beautiful garden and lots of art, I recommend a visit!
  • Magnificent place unfortunately not well known but really worth the detour. The chapel with its white marble cenotaph and its stained glass windows is superb. It is also one of the 7 holy chapels of France. The stained glass windows dating from the 16th century tell the story of Christ, Saint Louis and the Bourbon Montpensier family, his descendants. It's kind of a wonderful illustrated story. The castle is also very interesting. Thanks to the guide who is passionate and fascinating.
