  • If you are traveling to Normandy this museum is a must see. Very interesting, well laid out with many things to see. Glad we took the time to go.

  • Extensive war scenes and streets are impressively recreated. Many original tanks and other army vehicles. One of the best D-Day museums.

  • We went to all of the beaches and all the museums and while they are all great, we liked this one the most. In the start it has a really great timeline which summarizes all the important events in the war and gives a good impression if you are not familiar with it. This museum also has the most tanks and trucks and other huge machinery, which is truly impressive to see! Great museum all in all!
  • The best World War II museum I’ve been to. What makes this place stand out is the detail they put into their displays. It’s like you are walking through a movie set or history with life like scenes and sounds. My 7 years old loved it! Also it’s not crowded and located it a cute town 5 minutes from Omaha Beach.
  • I’ve visited this museum more than a few times over the years, and keep coming back to it. It has a very nice layout, both in terms of storytelling and displays. A lot of the displays are set up to try and show an authentic scene. The museum also houses a few rare vehicles, and some very well restored ones. If you’re into reading, both the storytelling at the beginning of the tour as the wall of remembrance will take up a substantial amount of time.
  • Lovely place to visit, it's fantastic to see the weapons, vehicles and WW2 items from the area. There is a lot to see and read. It's very informative and my 10 year old soaked all the knowledge in. Very easy to get to and the gift shop has a.lot of great items to buy
  • Absolutely loved this museum. A great collection of military hardware with excellent supporting commentary, and a well stocked gift shop. Takes between and hour to an hour and a half to go round the whole thing, and the outdoor exhibits are great too - Sherman’s, an M10 and some restored bunkers and Tobruk’s
