Create an itinerary including Deauville Beach
Located on what locals refer to as the "Parisian Riviera," Deauville Beach remains a prominent landmark of this seaside resort. The most notable features of the sandy beach are colorful parasols and a 1920s boardwalk lined with art deco changing booths. Notice how every booth bears the name of a film star--not surprising, given that the town hosts the American Film Festival. Sports enthusiasts can choose between tennis, volleyball, basketball, and soccer facilities; go speed sailing, kayaking, windsurfing on the water; or horseback ride along the shore. Those with a love for laps can swim in the seawater Olympic pool. Plan to visit Deauville Beach during your Deauville City vacation using our convenient Deauville City trip planner.

  • Largest beach we have ever seen. Site of the American Film Festival. The Boardwalk there is great and the beach was fun to walk on.

  • Lovely big beach! Be prepared for a long walk to the water, but the water was nice and cool in August. Nice board walk along the beach as well.
  • This is the closest beach near Paris. It is very large and not that crowded at the moment. You can buy food and drinks and bring them on the beach, you can take a looooong walk to the sea because of the tide or you can just enjoy the sun. Recommended for all 😉
  • High class, at the same time open to everyone. Really wide beach, clean. Love the sea. Recommended.
  • Great, quiet beach (November) for long walks with the dog or family. Lots of horses and buggies around - not something you see everywhere.
  • Lovely and large sandy beach! Beautiful and enough space for everyone!
