  • The wonderful paintings and furniture covering 4 centuries was well themed. An excellent collection deserving more recognition.

  • A beautifully designed museum where the rooms were furnished in old styles. Not to overwhelming with paintings, and a lot of pretty and interesting ones. Would have loved to have text about the paintings in English!
  • Small museum, townhouse. I always like it when there are furnished rooms. Entry 2.50E
  • Small museum for a family owned collection of artwork. Friendly staff and we enjoyed our visit.
  • An exquisite little gem of a place. The Magnin's had superb taste in Art and it was a privilege to step inside one of the mansions dotted around Dijon. The Magnins bought Art that they loved and they had a great eye. Not big name pieces but almost all I'd happily have taken home! Some of the rooms are decorated in historic style and some are particularly pretty - you can fully imagine an elegant dijonnaise lady floating around in them! Tickets cost €3.50 and include an audio guide (ours was in English) that has some thoughts written by the Magnin's which are well worth listening to. We almost missed visiting this lovely place and I don't think the guidebooks do it justice. I would very highly recommend the Musée Magnin  and would love to go back and spend a few hours gazing at the beautiful Art.
  • Nice museum in one of Dijon's mansions (hotel particulier) with a nice small collection of Bourgonese art throughout the centuries, collected by the owner of the house in the first half of 20th century. It's quite interesting how much interesting art was available, presumably for not that much, in this period.
