  • Interesting hike in the gorges passing by two old mills. More information on the Fred-38 hiking site.
  • Magnificent hike with an exit from the gorges on walls with splendid huge oaks If you park at the start of the hike, do not leave anything of value in the cars
  • Very pretty walk that leads from mill to mill through these gorges dug by La Véroncle. Superb paintings shaped by nature, very beautiful vestiges of the milling activity of man who stored water at a very irregular flow and ingeniously used hydraulic power to turn the millstones. A few remains of buildings encountered on the route, didactic panels inform about the specificity of the mill. The markup could be reinforced because it is a bit minimalist. Some technical passages (1 scale, some strings). If it rained lately, some very loamy passages too. And then plan that after a good rainy period of several days, the natural basins could be filled, which could complicate your progress. For this last reason, an approach from the bottom of the gorge seems more judicious to me.
  • A beautiful route, well signposted, although not suitable for dogs
  • The Véroncle gorge near the village of Gordes is a must-visit for all keen hikers. There are some small climbs to master. Highly Recommended.
