Chateau de Miniere, Ingrandes-de-Touraine

We had a great experience visiting this vineyard and doing the tasting + picnic option. The food was great and the wine was all amazing. The vineyard is small but very charming, and the service was top class. It is also in a convenient location if you are touring the chateaus of Loire Valley - we came from Villandry and it was only about 20 minutes by car.

Great vineyard to visit if you want a personal experience for a cheap price. Paid 20€ for a 1h visit around the vineyard which ended with a tasting. The wines were really good and they tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and spoke great English.

A fantastic wine tasting at Chateau de Miniere. It was 9 different wines, with a combination of white, rose and red. The host who led our tasting was amazing — he was knowledgeable, genuine and humorous. The wine tasting was free, and it felt proper to buy at least a few bottles in return. The wines tasted great and were reasonably priced. Would highly recommend! We didn’t take the tour because it was raining outside, but I’d love to return for it when the weather is nicer.

We have tasted wine all around the world and this was up there as one of the best. Flawless service and explanations during the tasting. Great variety of wines but all delightfully well made.

Excellent place to visit with children. Lots of things to keep kids busy (swings, hammock, hen, rabbits and lots of space to run around as well as colouring while grown ups are tasting wine). Staff very helpful and even stayed after closing time to help. Wine selection is of course a matter of taste but staff was patient to go through their entire collection and explain in detail. The sparkling red was innovative and the sweet wine was excellent. Prices are reasonable.
