The Stade Bollaert-Delelis (French pronunciation: [stad bɔlaʁt dələlis]) is the main football stadium in Lens, France, that was built in 1933. It is the home of RC Lens. The stadium's capacity is 38,223 – about 7,000 more than the city's population. The stadium was originally named after Félix Bollaert, a director of Compagnie des Mines de Lens, who was anxious to promote the development of sports clubs in the city. Construction began in 1931, though Bollaert died shortly before the stadium's inauguration. It was renamed Stade Bollaert-Delelis in 2012 after the death of André Delelis, former mayor of the city and politician who served as the Minister of Commerce under President François Mitterrand.

  • I purchased my ticket online in advance once I knew that the fixture date and time would not change. Very easy process as their website is very user friendly. Fabulous ground with passionate fans...

  • Very beautiful stadium and during football matches a large number of people coming from down district.now a days around the stadium a lot of things under construction.
  • Great atmosphere. A bit tricky finding our seats and getting drinks. We seemed to buy vip tickets without the access to drinks. Staff were really helpful though to find our seats
  • Functional ground but extremely poor views from the away fans corner. Have to see the game through security netting, this really spoils watching a match. Refreshment bar average at best. Frighteningly your not allowed to leave the ground until the final whistle, riot police and Lens security prevent you exiting. Saw people who had ferries or trains to catch blocked by police. A partially sighted women asked to be allowed to leave to ensure she caught her train, amazingly she was told no. All in all if you are an away fan I'd suggest you would be better off not going, you'll be treated badly. Lens fans really good but club treatment of away fans is disgusting.
  • Nice stadium, and probably the only place in France where they translate the signs in English.
  • No better place to watch football in this country
