    Nice and quite place I advice you to visit it Parking is available and free

    Lovely rural car park near Maurepas village with walk through the trees around the reservoir (Bassin). Well walked footpaths, lots of shade and benches for sitting. Large grassed area for picnics and wood deck overlooking the water. Lots of water birds, we also saw an otter swimming. Bird hide. No other facilities

    Not far away from Paris. Nice place for your family weekend trips. You could walk around the small lake and also in beautiful forest, with slowly rushing stream Lot of birds were there last time and some horses grazed on a green pasture near there. You can find there also a few graffiti. Parking was easy, with enough places.

    Recreational area, good car and motorhome parking overnight. No facilities or services there and the ground is steeply sloping in part so you have to pick your overnight place carefully. Used by a lot of runners especially in the evening.
