Rare species include Aloe marlothii, Araucaria columnaris, Castanospermum australe (Moreton Bay chestnut), Cnicothamnus lorentzi, and Ficus religiosa. You will also come across a small rainforest area that contains bamboo, ginger, philodendrons, tropical fruit trees, and spices and herbs. The garden also contains an excellent Musa basjoo and two Chorisia speciosa specimens. Small but packed with beautiful plants and stunning flowers. Great phots. Great views. Closed for lunch so be careful. It would benefit from a coffee shop to really enjoy the garden setting.

We enjoyed a two hour weekday trip to these lovely gardens overlooking the pretty town of Menton. The grounds were well-maintained and curated and we loved the late summer colours and sheer variety.... more

Beautiful garden and house in the outskirts of Menton. Not the biggest but still lots of interesting plants, trees and flowers. A note though is that parking is quite limited in the high season.
