Museobar Musee de la Frontiere, Modane

Perplexed before my visit, I finally had a good time. Count between one and two hours of visit to read well. If you have any questions do not hesitate to consult the lady at the reception who knows what she is talking about. The welcome was extraordinary, full of explanations. That alone is worth a detour. A lot of photos, video report or text Dance floor and if you're lucky, music on the mechanical piano 🎵 The photos submitted do not reflect what you can feel inside. You get caught up in the story very quickly, so don't just look at the pictures on the internet. Live this moment on the spot. Count in August 2022, 4.50€ per person and free for children under 6 years old. Thank you to the person (the lady) who welcomed us that day.

Excellent museum retracing the history of Modane and its region, in particular Franco-Italian relations and the famous "frejus" tunnel. The setting is original, with mechanical pianos. We see that Modane was a great economic and commercial center, a real border town.

Really very interesting to discover Modane at the beautiful time. Impossible to imagine the effervescence of the shops during this period. I found out where my great grandfather went to look for gold in America!!

Museobar is absolutely worth a visit. Museum on the golden age of Modane. You can even dance on the dance floor. The staff is very involved and answers all questions. I put 5 stars
