  • It was good to see the permanent collection, some paintings by Impressionist and there were also local artists.

  • Did not see anything after 1900, I think, I just do not appreciate modern art...the paintings are exquisite, both biblical, and personal portraits...

  • Huge and impressive collection. Mostly classical and modern painting and sculpture. Somewhat out of time/place for the gallery is the really wonderful collection of Pierre Soulanges paintings. You might need multiple days to get through the whole collection . So bank on at least half a day for your visit.
  • A decent museum with no AC. We visited in April and while weather outside felt amazing it was very hot inside. Take a hand held fan with you. We did the quick speed through version.
  • Not only traditional art, but also contemporary art. And there’s an temporary exhibition. Very impressed. Free entrée every first Sunday of the month.
  • I had Musée Fabre on my list for the "Fallen Angel" painting, so when I got in I thought that I would spend less than an hour in there. Boy was I wrong. For the art-lovers or even for people like me who know very few things about art this place is the perfect place to be absorbed in. Each room was more magnificent than the next, the museum wasn't crowded (so that for me is always a plus). The staff is friendly. And the paintings.... well don't take my word for it and visit it when you are in the neighbourhood. I pormise it's totally worth it.
  • A great experience on a cold & windy day, it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside my quick visit turned into 4 hours. Looking forward to returning.
