Parc Naturel Regional du Verdon, Moustiers Sainte-Marie

A bautiful place with a lot of options for hiking, rafting, etc. As well, it's nice just to ride around - just find a right playlist :) Unfortunately, it's rather scary to cycle around.

The lake is big and beautiful. It has a turquoise color and is very clear by the shore. There are many access points to the lake. The photos are taken in a small "private like" Shore found in the village of Baudeun, it is found deep inside a dead end road. There are also boats for rent to explore the lake, there are electric boats or pedal boats available to the public.

it is heaven! also reminds about Avatar film, feels like you are in another world. except when you are trying to find a lunch at 2pm around and everything is closed)) there were many people on the bridge taking photos, some kind of camping nearby.

This is one of my favourite places in France! Bring your own stand up paddle or paddle boat and you will surely enjoy it! There are boats for rent available if you dont have your own. The lake is HUGE and there are areas where you can just enjoy sunbathing. Two-thumbs up for this place!

A recommendation for sure. A must see. It amazes me every time I visit. Take a boat trip down the gorges (in June the water level is really high so you can go deeper in the gorges but the water is way colder than at the end of july). I recommend you visit Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Such a cute town with a church in the mountains you can walk up and visit. I also recommend the lavender fields (may/June/July) if you drive around the lake.
