Musee de la Romanite, Nimes

Very informational and interesting museum! All the staff were very polite and watchful and were ready to assist you along the pathway if you seemed confused. The Roman history and historical relics were amazing to see in person, and have been very well preserved. Overall a very educational and calming experience! I would happily come back again!

Great museum, well laid out. Friendly and helpful staff. Even better it was free as it was the first Sunday of the month.

We went to discover the Roman time of France, and this was the right place to do it. Amazing museum and we only paid 19€ for family tickets ( 2 adults and two teenagers ). We take 2 hours and the time ran. Next time we will take more time to enjoy all exhibits.

I spent more than five hours exploring the museum. It is very well organized and offers multimedia tools that make learning much easier. And it entertains you. I have been to several museums, and this is the best one I have been to so far, as it has adapted very well to the current times of teaching. I had the opportunity to visit the American Museum of Natural History in New York and it has a lot to learn from the Musée de la Romanité . As another thing that amazed me was the architecture that looks beautiful on the outside, but it is on the inside where you get the impact. At one moment it is as if you open a shutter and through the window you see the past. And there it is, in all its splendor, the Arena of Nimes. A marvel!
