  • This is the place of death of King Francis II and also a space used by Joan of Arc. The entry is free and there are guided tours of the hotel. However the hotel is closed between noon to 1400 hr. Limited help in English is available - maybe 1 staff at the front desk can speak. The gardens are very pretty and are a public space used by locals. The entry to the gardens is separate, a 3-4 min walk from the Hotel Groslot entrance. If there is an event happening at the location while you are there, entry is closed without notice, and the staff will ask you to come back at a later time
  • Very lovely and free entrance. Only one floor to visit so not too time consuming
  • Interesting to learn more on the story of the city of Orleans and medieval France in general
  • Very nice townhall. The garden is part of it. Visit is for free. You can visit 5 posh rooms. In front is a Jeanne d'Arc statue, which was damaged during the war.
  • Hello everyone, you can enter this place free of charge! You just need yo tell your country and that is all. Sometimes there might be a wedding ceremony , so you might need to wait for an hour. Taking a picture is allwed of course without flash. People on the reception they also speak English and they are very friendly. Place is just awesome, you can spend 20-30mins with some old furnitures at this house
