This was a great little discovery on our way to our hotel in Plainfaing. We had a guided tour and tasting and watched as the confectioners made the lollies that are sold there. It was a free visit...

We turned up late in the day - expecting a 5 minutes look-in then a whirl round the shop, but were treated to a personal tour (in french with pauses for my translator to tell me the key points) which.... more

❤️ Sympathetic and professional staff. Well organized visits. Well situated, quite visible from the main road. Suitable for wandering. 🤔 Sugar consuming may be a problem to certain people. Replacing it with agave, stevia or maple syrup might be taken in consideration. Thank you for the moment.

Simple, not extensively long, but yet interesting and warmly presented by people actually working there. Oh and it's totally free as well ... but hey, you will get another occasion to drill a nice hole in your pocket at the shop if you treat yourself with their delicious pine-based sweets.
