  • This majestic mountain rises dramatically and visibly for miles around. It appearance changes constantly as the light moves, or one moves oneself--thus the appeal to artists. I don't know too many...

  • Caught the 110 public bus from Aix En Provence (stop is just around the corner from the main bus station) a return ticket cost a couple of Euro. You can ask the bus driver to drop you pretty much...

  • Perfect for hiking, I did not go to the top but every spot I were was really a nice point of view. There is a lot of history and facts about this place !
  • Beautiful place for hiking or mountain bike, great views!
  • A very beautiful hike. We started from the dam and followed the blue route to the top. It was indicated this would take about two hours and this was a good estimate. At the top of the mountain you can find an old monastery that has been renovated. It was not open to visit when we were there (Friday 18th of September). However, the most spectacular thing at the top was the view.
  • There is a fantastic hike from the West side that goes all the way up to the cross statue. The views from there are spectacular.
  • Paul Cezanne’s favorite mountain!
